Been very busy - and have been going thought a lot. Roberto and I went to a walk sponsored by Hygeia on Oct. 1 in East Haven. It was beautiful. With all of the support from everyone, The Hygeia Foundation raised over $37,000!!! There were so many people there -and there were honors and remembrances read, and I read a poem, too, with my amazing husband by my side.

I was so lucky that our dear friend Cathy came out of the blue - and surprised us by showing up at the walk - standing by Roberto and I as they read off all of the babies names - and when they called out our little girl's name - Graciela AnnaMaria. Thank you, Cathy. We are truly lucky to have your support.

As I said - a lot has been going on. I have been doing homework non-stop and studying for the MCAT in between. I say my prayers that I will receive a score good enough to be accepted into medical school. It would be my dream come true.

I thought a lot about Graciela today. I love her name...my Graciela...I miss her. I have cried every single day for her - almost a year straight. I cannot believe I had a baby...a baby who died inside of me.

I love you my baby. You know I think of you all the time. I love you my sweetheart. xoxo I have longed to hold you and feel your soft skin. There are no words to describe it.

I love you, Graciela. xo <3
